Giving Back
Become a Volunteer!
Do you want to inspire a Pulitzer Prize winner to start writing? How about a Newbery Medal recipient? Or even a Nobel Prize-winning author?
You have an opportunity to do just that with the nonprofit Literary Legacies! Our organization teaches students grades 3-12 how to write their own fiction or nonfiction book.
We are looking for volunteers to help guide students through the process of writing their own book. You do not have to be an author or an English major to help! Just have a creative mind and a desire to improve a child’s life. Students are taught one hour a week after school and possibly on weekends, depending on your schedule. If you are interested in starting up with one or several students, please contact us. Change a young person’s life today!
